ArcticAqua is a wetted emulsion designed to optimize thermal exchange between human flesh and an ice pack. The workhorse of the PolarSkin Cooling systems.
ArcticAqua has unique physical characteristics. The emulsion remains malleable at temperatures below 32 degrees F. However, the emulsion undergoes four phase changes the temperature rises past 32 degrees F. This radically improves thermal heat exchange between an overheated person and a cooling medium.
The technology was developed specifically to cool an overheated human. Certainly there are other applications but that is not the point. Being cool to save a life, that is the point.
